Continued prayers for the Berko Family as Peggy, Kevin’s mother, remains hospitalized while next steps are determined in her battle with ovarian cancer. Pray for peace of mind and comfort as she wrestles with this recent diagnosis. Thank you for the support and prayers from CLC. From Pastor Mike Gafa - Hello friends! It is not quite 24 hours since my eye surgery but here is what we know at the point: There is some sight in the left (good) eye. It is really blurry, but it has gone through quite a bit of trauma. Friday morning’s appointment showed the pressure is still high at 46. So, more meds to reduce pressure but my doctor is pretty confident that it will come down soon, and my vision may sharpen a bit. Overall, it seems that the surgery was successful and that my case was really extreme. Pam and I have greatly appreciated your prayers and encouragement. We are doing okay through this. Sorry in advance for not returning phone calls or emails or texts. Everything takes so much concentration and energy right now. I also have an appointment Monday morning but will preach this Sunday for sure. How can i not? He is risen! With love, and together in Christ, Mike
